Dancer Training Support Program Agreement

As of January 2006, dancers admitted to the Dancer Training Support Program have been protected by the Commission des normes, de l’équité, de la santé et de la sécurité du travail (CNESST) in the event of an injury or an accident that occurs during supervised training that is not part of an employment contract. This protection is offered under the Regulation respecting the implementation of the Agreement on the professional dance training program and the agreement between the Conseil des arts et des lettres du Québec (CALQ) and the CNESST.
Attention! This protection does not apply to a dancer who participates in research, creation, rehearsal or touring activities with an independent choreographer or a dance company.

Regulation respecting the implementation of the Agreement on the professional dance training program
