Lucca Bella Stothers

Originally from Toronto, Lucca Bella Stothers is a dancer currently based in Montreal – Tiohtià:ke – Mooniyang. With her parents working in the arts, she was exposed to a variety of art forms from an early age, including theater, visual arts, music and film.
Lucca Bella graduated from the university of Quebec in Montreal in dance interpretation in 2023, where she benefited from the teaching of Alan Lake, Esther Rousseau-Morin, Caroline Laurin-Beaucage and Anne Thériault, among others, who pushed her to go beyond her limits as a performer.
Trained in hip-hop, ballet, flamenco, jazz and many other dance styles, Lucca is interested in blurring the lines between these different styles. She is passionate about the aesthetic dimension of dance, the movement of textiles and the contribution of video to dance.
