Following her studies at the École de danse contemporaine de Montréal, Andrea worked as a performer for various artists and companies, including choreographer Alejandro de León, the Gypsy Kumbia Orchestra (2012 – 2018), Catherine Lavoie-Marcus of the company Je suis Julio, and the company Les Archipels. She also performed as a choreographer-dancer for the music group Kumpa’gnia and the project Les Angles Morts. Currently, she is a performer for Audrey Gaussiran's new creation, MOSAÏCO, and the project Convergence by the company Les Archipels. She works as a dancer and stilt walker for the company Les Chasseurs des Rêves. She was featured as a performer in the official music video of Patrick Watson’s song "Melody Noir." She has led choreographic projects such as Cartographie Vivante and Filer. In 2014, she co-founded the collective Danza Descalza, where she teaches, performs, and engages in cultural mediation, notably with the piece AKO and the new creation IMPULSO. To this day, she serves as the General and Artistic Co-Director of the collective Danza Descalza.

Her choreographic style is inspired by contemporary dance and Afro-Latin dances, which she immersed herself in during her training in Brazil (Orixa movements), Peru, and Colombia, her country of origin. She also pursues training in clowning and physical theatre. She participated in the collective creation of the clown piece "Ni Clown Ni Femme!" directed by Véronique O'Leary.

Her strong desire to work with children and teenagers has led her to collaborate with community centers in NDG and Côte-des-Neiges, as well as with the Jeunesses Musicales Canada Foundation and the project Ré-création from the SHERPA research institute.
