Emergency services for dancers in Montreal

Who should you consult in the event of an injury during a show or a rehearsal? The Regroupement québécois de la danse has compiled not one, but two Directories of physicians and therapists available and willing to provide emergency health care to artists.
Distributed among our presenter members in Montreal, the first directory consists of a list of on-call therapists available between Friday and Sunday until June 2020. These health professionals reserved one or two weekends thanks to the perseverance of dancer and physiotherapist Liliane Moussa, who generously lent a hand to make this directory a reality. This list is currently no longer available due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The second directory, intended for both presenters and studio renters, features a list of health professionals (in FR) who are prepared to respond to emergencies from Monday to Friday during working hours. The therapists on this list were referred by RQD members during the development of the Directory of health professionals (Répertoire des professionnels de la santé) in 2016. Also included in the Directory are two physicians authorized to diagnose CNESST cases! For any information or comments on this list, please contact the RQD at info@quebecdanse.org
