Performative Marathon – March 2025 – Studio 303

Studio 303 is organizing a Performative Marathon on March 22, 2025, open to all short forms of choreographic and performance practices that integrate the body and/or movement. This second edition aims to highlight 5-minute works that are in the early stages of development. This can mean that you’re early in your career, but it can also mean that you’re in the initial stages of realizing a new idea or practice We’ll provide a lo-fi setup, a general lighting plan, and a technical director to offer straightforward lighting and sound support, along with general technical coordination and show management. Being a free and unfunded event, there will be no artist fees. Our intention is to provide a space and an opportunity for artists to try out new material for the first time, in front of a welcoming and nonjudgmental audience.

WHO IS THE OPEN CALL FOR?

● All generations of dance, and performance who are working with the body, and are in the early stages research. ● We will not be presenting the work of students, but encourage new graduates to apply.
