Join the production team of the Festival TransAmériques!
Discover the behind-the-scenes of a major international festival of theatre and dance. By working closely with the production team and all the departments of the Festival TransAmériques (FTA), you will contribute to the success of its 19th edition.
The Reception Assistant plays a key role in the experience of the Festival’s guests, including artists, speakers, and presenters. Organizational skills, diplomacy, and adaptability are essential to ensuring a warm welcome and contributing to the smooth running of the Festival.
Under the supervision of the Reception Manager, the Reception Assistant will work closely with the reception team, while assuming a range of distinct responsibilities:
- Support the Reception Manager
- Coordinate local and national transportation for guests (shuttle/bus bookings, schedules, STM transportation tickets, taxi vouchers, etc.)
- Create and manage the work schedule for drivers and reception staff, and serve as the point of contact for their itinerary
- Maintain and update a database of companies, guests, and Festival staff
- Prepare, organize, and distribute accreditation materials and welcome packages
- Be present at the Headquarters, participate in setting up and dismantling reception workspaces
- Create shift schedules for reception desk coverage at Headquarters.
