Nathan Biggs-Penton:

Initially, my desire to create emerged from my admiration for the weightlessness of trivial things: a bag in the wind, falling leaves. With the aim of experiencing and sharing this weightlessness, we explore counterweights as a way of putting ourselves into the body.

Through our exploration of counterweights, the external forces that relentlessly separate us, I arrive at the key research question: what are the rituals that bring us together?

Vanessa Brazeau:

Inspired by the idea of representing all forms of duality in movement, exploring the world of witches has been a pursuit of mine for several years.
The witch is an emblematic figure of the multiple possibilities of our feminine being.
During this residency, we worked on different ways of embodying the division of our being through the creation of characters.
We invite you to discover this exploration through two short solos performed by Léa Noblet Di Ziranaldi.

Collaborators on the project :
Léa Noblet Di Ziranaldi (creative interpreter)
