Driver – Artists
Duration: 3 weeks – May 15, 2025, to June 7, 2025
Salary: $770/week
Join the production team of the Festival TransAmériques!
Discover the behind-the-scenes of a major international theater and dance festival. Put your interpersonal skills and driving experience to work for a large cultural event! By working closely with the Festival TransAmériques (FTA) welcome team, you will contribute to the success of the 19th edition.
The welcome driver is responsible for the transportation and reception of the Festival’s artists. By managing their transportation and ensuring their comfort, they play a key role in their experience. Flexibility, the ability to manage varying schedules, good communication with the team and artists, and a strong sense of service are central to this position. Through professionalism, the welcome driver helps create a positive experience for the guests.
Under the supervision of the welcome coordinator, the welcome driver works closely with the welcome team while handling the following tasks:
- Be responsible for a vehicle, such as a car, minivan, or 15-passenger minibus (holder of a Class 4B driver’s license);
- Ensure the pickup and transport of guests at the airport and within the City of Montreal;
- Handle the loading and unloading of the artists’ luggage.
