Your Role

We are looking for a development agent to lead the execution of our annual silent auction, a fundraising event involving local businesses.

  • Manage the collection of items and gift certificates and ensure they are delivered to the FASS office.
  • Ensure the online interactive auction is set up: photographing items, writing descriptions, highlighting partners, etc.
  • Organize the auction space under the Grand Tent during the Festival.
  • During the Festival, work with the volunteer team, assist them, and answer their questions.
  • Supervise the closing of the auction on August 3 with the FASS team.

Desired Profile

  • Excellent sales and persuasion skills to encourage donations.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with volunteers and partners.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in computer tools (Excel, Word) and the ability to quickly learn an online auction software.
  • Driver’s license and access to a car.
  • Personal computer required.

Conditions

  • Compensation: Base flat fee + commission.
  • Gas allowance.
  • Access to certain Festival shows.

Schedule and Terms

  • Duration: From May 5 to August 3, 2025.
  • Flexibility: Autonomous time management for partner solicitation.
  • Presence required under the Grand Tent every evening of the shows, from July 23 to August 3.
  • Hybrid model: Remote work and fieldwork.
  • Estimated work time: 20 to 25 hours per week.
