The FQD is issuing an invitation to local, Canadian and international choreographers and companies who wish to present a Montreal, Canadian or world premiere, or a revival, at the 23ᵉ edition to be held from September 4 to 14, 2025.

WHY PARTICIPATE IN FQD?
The FQD is an annual event dedicated to the creation of artistic events in contemporary dance and movement arts.
The FQD’s mission is to democratize contemporary dance in all its forms and hybridities, making it more accessible to all in both traditional and unusual venues. The FQD offers performances by artists who are primarily local, but also national and international. It adopts a multidisciplinary approach to creative dance, presenting shows, performances, installations, short films, exhibitions, meetings, round tables and cultural mediation workshops.
In keeping with its mission and mandate, the FQD also reflects the image of Montreal as a welcoming, cosmopolitan city.The FQD strongly encourages creative dance artists of cultural and ethnic diversity to apply for every edition!
