Adapted Leisure Dance Classes Offered in Laval

Maï(g)wenn et les Orteils offers three sessions of recreational dance classes a year, adapted to the learning pace of adults from neurodiverse backgrounds: intellectual disability, autism spectrum disorder, Down’s syndrome, developmental delay, and more. Classes are held in Laval’s Sainte-Rose district on Saturday afternoons.

We start from the principle that everyone can dance and should have access to a leisure service adapted to their needs. Participants must be able to follow basic group instructions, but no dance prerequisites are necessary. We value the pleasure of moving and learning together, in a relaxed, non-judgmental atmosphere.

The winter session starts on January 11, and registrations are now open.
