Seeking for Communications and Digital Marketing Coordinator

COORDINATOR – COMMUNICATIONS AND DIGITAL MARKETING

L’Agora de la danse is the first permanent venue specifically dedicated to contemporary dance in Quebec. It has been at the forefront of choreographic creation and dissemination in Montreal for over 30 years. In addition to providing a stage for dance and its audiences, the Agora is involved in co-productions with promising artistic approaches, and provides long-term support for choreographers.

Reporting to the Artistic Director, the Coordinator – Communications and Digital Marketing works closely with the Communications and Public Relations Manager to promote the activities and values of Agora de la danse. The incumbent will demonstrate creativity, responsiveness, autonomy and a strong sense of initiative and organization in order to advance several projects and files simultaneously. Among other tasks, the incumbent will participate in the development of the general communications plan, develop and analyze performance indicators, and collaborate on various projects within the organization.

MAIN TASKS
Coordinate and ensure the optimization of our actions and communication tools: planning and follow-up with artists, partners, suppliers and collaborators, management of communication meetings with artists, communication channel with box office, participation in the realization of season unveilings, special events, etc…
Participate in project ideation and creation of promotional content, mainly for cultural mediation and philanthropy activities, as well as for hall rentals.
Update the website and seasons.
Manage and update social media, Google Ads, Facebook campaigns, UTMs, video channels, etc.
Plan, write and manage season newsletters
Analyze results of communications actions via Analytics G4 and submit recommendations
Develop editorial and content calendar
Participate in and coordinate promotional initiatives with our partners
Manage referencing
Create digital evening programs

PROFILE AND EXPERIENCE

Training in communications, marketing, project management
Minimum five years’ experience
Very good knowledge of media, social networks (META Business Suite) and digital marketing

Excellent command of spoken and written French and English
Excellent writing and summarizing skills
Good knowledge of graphic design, HTML, Canva, Google Suite, Office, Windows environment and WordPress
Understanding of KPI data
Knowledge of Ad Words (an asset)
Team spirit, attention to detail, autonomy and proactivity, organizational skills, creativity and flexibility
Strong interest in the arts (an asset)

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Starting date: as soon as possible
Full-time position 35 hours/week
Workplace: ÉDIFICE WILDER – Espace danse, Quartier des spectacles, downtown Montreal, with possibility of telecommuting
Salary to be discussed, and in line with the organization’s salary scale
