Are you a cultural professional in Quebec who wants to encourage equity, diversity and inclusion within your organization, or do you have a diverse background and would like to receive coaching to help you develop the skills you need to maintain or develop your professional activity in culture?  This coaching program is for you!

During this personalized coaching program, you will develop your knowledge of these issues and acquire the tools you need to implement inclusive practices within your organization that encourage reflection on issues of equity, diversity and inclusion, or that promote the inclusion of artists or cultural workers from diverse backgrounds.

Personalized theoretical and practical training sessions, as well as workshops led by the expert of your choice, will enable you to apply the concepts covered.

Objectives

Acquire the knowledge or develop the skills needed to maintain or develop one’s professional activity in culture as a person of diversity, and acquire the knowledge or develop the skills needed to adopt an inclusive, equitable and non-discriminatory approach as a cultural organization.

The specific objectives of the program will be defined by each participant according to their needs. These objectives could, for example :

• provide tools and raise awareness of systemic discrimination;
• implement strategies aimed at inclusion and the adoption of best practices;
• raise awareness of the contribution of diversity to development issues;
• assume responsibility for its impact on society;
• support progress through good project and change management practices, and accompany individuals who encounter systemic obstacles to full professional integration in their career development.

Who can benefit from this training?

Any employee of a cultural organization in Quebec who wishes to encourage equity, diversity and inclusion within his or her organization, or to work as an artist or cultural worker in Quebec with a diversity background.
