For young children (18 months to 5 years)

One day, I was looking at the earth from far away. Then I wanted to see the forest and I came closer. Then I wanted to see a tree and I got very close. Then I wanted to see a leaf and I got very, very close. I lifted the leaf to see what was underneath. That day, I realized that I was a giant and that I could open a door to the infinitely small and the infinitely large.

In a forest where leaves disguise themselves as questions, where birdsong makes the seasons dance, the audience takes shelter under tents to discover what lies beneath the leaf. We then sit down in a softly lit space, and in the half-light, we discover a large paper tree. This tender, subtle story told through movement and music awakens all our senses.

Sous la feuille, a show for young children created in Quebec City by dance artist Ariane Voineau and musician Josué Beaucage – both parents themselves. Presented again after the success of 2019!

Co-presented by La Rotonde and Théâtre jeunesse Les Gros Becs
