Discover the roots of jazz dance with this Solo Jazz class. This Afro-American culture developed throughout the first half of the 20th century and has continued to evolve through various dance styles up to the present day.
Both specific objectives and fundamental concepts are on the agenda:
Capture the unique groove of jazz dance
Learn a variety of jazz steps (Stomp Off, Suzie Q, Fall Off the Log, Shorty George, Snake Hips, etc.)
Experiment with basic steps and their variations (Charleston, Break Steps, Shuffle, Kicks, etc.)
Follow a short choreographic sequence to consolidate these learnings
Develop your own style by feeding off the group’s energy in improvisation spaces
You’ll discover the creative potential of self-expression through the universal nature of movement. Because jazz isn’t just a dance—it’s a vibe.
Prerequisites
None, except being ready to dive into a rich dancing universe, free of judgment, with a cool attitude.

Special Rate
