MOMENTUM invites you to a Contact-Improvisation weekend of discovery and immersion on

Dates: October 25th-26th and 27th, 2024

Location: Studio Ashtanga Montreal, 372 Sainte-Catherine Ouest, Studio 118

Facilitated by Gabrielle Revlock (NYC), Stéphanie Gaudreau (MTL), Sarah Zucchero (NYC) and Valerie Sabbah (MTL).

MOMENTUM proposes 5 mindfully curated workshops and jams for beginners and experienced practitioners, encouraging reflections on skills, community harmony, and crafting a sustainable, curious and joyous jam practice.

MOMENTUM is designed as a propulsion towards the 2024 Montreal Contact-Improvisation Annual Jam taking place November 1st to 3rd.

However, it is an opportunity for those curious about this movement practice. The four facilitators are long-time practitioners and dance artists with Contact-Improvisation at they core. They bring to Montreal a professional perspective on this practice founded in 1972 by Steve Paxton.
