About Sarah Gibson

Sarah Gibson completed her dance training at the École supérieure de ballet du Québec with such distinguished teachers as Christine Clair, Daniel Seillier and Alexandra Wells.

Upon graduating in 1996, Sarah joined Alberta Ballet for a year, then returned to Montreal to dance with Les Grands Ballets canadiens.

During her 13-year career with the company, Sarah had the opportunity to perform works by choreographers George Balanchine, Fernand Nault, Jean-Christophe Maillot, Jiri Kylian, Ohad Naharin, Stjin Cellis and Nacho Duato.

In 2011, Sarah ended her career in ballet and continued her work teaching ballet to figure skaters. The following year, she began training to become a certified Essentrics instructor.

Her recent training as a Gaga technique instructor led her to teach the movement created by Ohad Naharin of the Batsheva dance company.

Sarah is delighted to be returning to her passion for dance and sharing it with others.
