Evening Class | Formation Tondoa — Traditional Colombian dances

This class is designed to introduce beginners and dance enthusiasts to the techniques and culture of traditional Colombian dance. Participants will learn specific Colombian dance techniques, including the expressive use of skirts for an authentic artistic performance. They will be introduced to the company’s own language, fostering communication and connection within the group. Emphasis is placed on the development of interpretive skills for captivating and emotional performances, as well as on the exploration of personal artistic creation through dance. In-depth analysis of movements and styles is also on the agenda for a deeper understanding of technique and choreography. Participants will learn to manage stage space for optimal presence, and will have the opportunity to create their own dynamic choreographies, stimulating their creativity and personal expression. Finally, the training takes place in a dynamic and joyful environment, with live music by Raíz Viva during 5 classes during the session, offering a vibrant immersion in Afro-Colombian culture.
