Danser le corps-territoire
5:00PM to 9:00PM
Département de danse de l'UQAM | 840, rue Cherrier, Montreal
Germain Ducros is pleased to invite you to Dancing the Body-Territory, the presentation of his research-creation project for the PhD in Arts Studies and Practices (UQAM), under the supervision of Louis-Claude Paquin.
🍃 Danser le corps-territoire is an ecosomatic encounter with the lands where his four grandparents were born. It is a choreographic, visual, and sound-based transposition of the sensory affects that emerged last summer during his visit to these territories, considered as artistic collaborators in his research-creation process.
Three presentations will take place at Studio840 of the UQAM Dance Department. Each presentation will be preceded by a collective warm-up and followed by a time for discussion and an open visit of the Affleurements exhibition (see below). Total duration: 1h30. Free admission, subject to venue capacity.
