DANS MES YEUX

Five choreographers, five duos, and five dance videos, each accompanied by its own documentary. This intimate look focuses on different artists; on different bodies and different humans. The viewer becomes a witness to the meeting between these atypical and neurotypical artists, their budding relationships, and the bonds formed through movement, the closeness of bodies, and choreographic creation. This dance film shines a light on the multiplicity of beauty—unapologetic, raw, and provocative, bold, brilliant, and explosive. It refuses to let the gaze avert and forces the viewer to focus on an atypical aesthetic. It provokes encounters through dance and captures the essence of the desire to be seen and the need to exist.
