AMOUR, ACIDE ET NOIX – Daniel Léveillé Danse

Four bodies given to dance reveal what lies beneath the strangely opaque skin: muscle, water, breath, energy, a state of being intensely alive and attentive to others, despite or because of the need not to be completely alone. “Amour, acide et noix” speaks of solitude, but above all, the infinite tenderness of touch, the hardness of life, and the desire for elevation or escape from this sometimes heavy body. This performance offers nudity as the only alternative for reading the body, without makeup or false modesty.
