Afro-Colombian Dance Training

Our training aims to give beginners and dance enthusiasts alike the tools they need to get started in this field. We cover the following aspects:

– Mastery of traditional Colombian dance techniques, including skirt handling for authentic artistic expression.

– Introduction to the company’s specific language, promoting communication and cohesion within the group.

– Development of interpretation for a captivating and emotional performance.

– Exploration of artistic creation, where each participant can express his or her own vision through dance.

– In-depth analysis of movements and styles, for a deeper understanding of technique and choreography.

– Learning to manage space for optimal stage presence.

– Creation of original and dynamic choreography, stimulating creativity and self-expression.

And above all, a dynamic and entertaining training environment, where learning takes place in an atmosphere of joy and good humor.

Our session consists of 12 enriching classes. In six classes, you’ll have the pleasure of dancing to the spellbinding rhythm of live music performed by Raíz Viva. This musical immersion adds a vibrant and authentic dimension to your learning experience.

Furthermore, in addition to the practical classes, we provide you with valuable didactic documentation to deepen your understanding of Afro-Colombian culture, enabling you to better grasp the roots and nuances of each dance movement and step.
