SURVEY – Training Needs of Native and Culturally/Artistically Diverse Dance Professionals

The Regroupement québécois de la danse (RQD) is currently inviting all dance professionals from Native and culturally and artistically diverse groups to complete this survey concerning their training needs and skill development.

Given the numerous challenges facing dance professionals at all stages of their careers, and perhaps even more so artists from culturally diverse communities, the RQD’s Artistic and Cultural Diversity Committee recommended that this survey be conducted.
 

Help us to better support your professional path and career management! 
Does the training program offered by RQD meet your needs? What tools do you require? What artistic, technical, administrative or communicational skills would you like to develop? In short, how can we help you?

We are asking for your feedback as a dance professional (choreographer, dancer, teacher, cultural worker), whether or not you are an RQD member.
 

To be eligible for this survey, you must meet one of the following conditions:

• be a dance professional from an immigrant background, an ethnocultural community, a visible minority or Native community;

OR

• be a dance professional whose practice reflects a minority, mixed or Native cultural identity. 
   

We also invite you to relay this invitation to your artistic colleagues and to cultural workers in dance.
