Seeking for Communications Coordinator

With this in mind, we are looking to fill the position of Communications Coordinator.

Reporting to the Marketing and Artistic Directors, the Communications Coordinator plays an active role in the organization’s outreach by contributing to the development of major communications initiatives and by drafting all promotional and institutional tools, while overseeing press relations and stimulating the development of the organization’s two specific clienteles.
Main responsibilities
Contribute to the development of a strong artistic and promotional signature by defining the main lines of communications:
Work with marketing management to define the broad lines of the communications/marketing plan, in line with strategic planning objectives;
Coordinate the design and writing of the Maison Théâtre’s main promotional and philanthropic tools, as well as various institutional documents;
Supervise all press relations work for programming and other Maison Théâtre news;
In collaboration with Marketing, stimulate the development of promotional strategies and tools aimed at the retention, loyalty, growth and development of clienteles and donors;
Ensure the dynamism of the organization’s social networks, both in terms of the pace of publication and the management of the various communities;
Help keep the website up to date, enrich it by writing articles and ensuring the quality of its content;
In collaboration with companies and suppliers, create programs for each show of the season and ensure the availability of teaching materials and accompanying tools;
Coordinate and share information on Maison Théâtre programming and activities with partners and their platforms (Coup d’œil, La Vitrine, Quartier des spectacles, Accès Montréal, etc.);
Participate in the organization of artistic and outreach projects for the Maison Théâtre, in collaboration with its partners;
Represent Maison Théâtre at various conferences and events.
Qualifications
University degree in communications or other relevant field;
Excellent command of French and strong ability to write communications tools of various kinds according to recognized best practices;
Experience in writing for social networks (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Bluesky)
Supplier management
Knowledge of image processing software (Canva, Photoshop…) and CMS platforms (WordPress and others);
Experience in the cultural field: knowledge of youth and school clientele, the broadcasting milieu and/or theater for young audiences an asset;
Experience in philanthropic writing an asset.

Working conditions
Start date: June 2025.
Full-time position at 35 hours per week.
Group insurance.
Policy allowing telecommuting (minimum three (3) days in the office per week).
Salary range: $51,000 – $57,000
