JOB DESCRIPTION
The Communications Manager plays a key role in promoting MAYDAY and its projects. Under the supervision of the management team, they develop and implement innovative communication strategies to showcase the company’s activities to the public, partners, and the media.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
🔹 Communication Strategy
- Implement a comprehensive communication strategy
- Ensure consistency in MAYDAY’s image and messaging across all platforms
🔹 Social Media and Website Management
- Manage and animate social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram)
- Plan and publish engaging content (texts, visuals, videos)
- Update the company’s website
🔹 Press Relations and Project Promotion
- Write and distribute press releases
- Coordinate the promotion of MAYDAY’s performances and events
🔹 Content Creation and Communication Tools
- Write articles, newsletters, and press kits
- Oversee the production of visuals and promotional materials, and create them when needed
🔹 Coordination and Events
- Ensure MAYDAY’s visibility at events
- Organize performance documentation (recordings, photos, archives)
DESIRED PROFILE
✨ Skills and Experience
- Degree in communications, cultural marketing, public relations, or a related field
- Experience in a similar position (ideally in the cultural or artistic sector)
- Excellent writing skills in French and good command of English
- Familiarity with digital tools, social media management, and web platforms (WordPress)
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Salary: between $21 and $24/hour
Hours: 14 to 18 hours per week
