Bashir Al Mahayni

Bashir Al Mahayni, also known as Beasho, began his artistic journey as a Bboy in Damascus, Syria, and currently resides in Tiohtià:ke (Montreal). He holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Concordia University in Intermedia (IMCA), a multidisciplinary program where he developed skills in performance installation, imagery, electronic programming, and digital video manipulation using Isadora.
Beasho has presented works such as Kaokab, Interspace, and Clay Play as both a choreographer and performer. In 2024, he co-founded Molokhia Squad with Ines Chiha and presented excerpts from their piece Collapse at Studio 303, Ecotone, and Labos eXplo Circuit Est Art Nook.
Currently, Beasho is expanding his artistic repertoire by pursuing contemporary dance.
