Call for Projects: Culture in All Its Forms in Ahuntsic-Cartierville

Artists, Collectives, Cultural Organizations… take part in this call for projects and help stimulate the cultural life of Ahuntsic-Cartierville! Your project could receive financial support of up to $8,500.

The borough of Ahuntsic-Cartierville aims to bring new energy to its many green spaces by offering local cultural programming. Through this call for projects, culture reaches people where they are.

What are the objectives?

  • Contribute to cultural vitality in the neighborhoods through professional, turnkey, free cultural interventions, projects, and events for the borough’s residents.
  • Increase the reach of programming in areas less served by existing infrastructure, by animating outdoor public spaces such as alleyways, public squares, or outlying parks (e.g., Parc des Hirondelles, De Mésy, Saint-Simon-Apôtre, or Saint-Benoît).
  • Support organizations or artists from diverse or Indigenous backgrounds.
  • Promote artistic excellence and encourage the visibility of art, in all its forms, to diverse audiences.

What support is offered?

  • A maximum amount of $8,500 (plus applicable taxes) per project may be granted and may either fully fund the project or serve as complementary financial support alongside other sources of income.
  • The granted funds must be used specifically and entirely for the execution of the project approved by the borough.
  • This financial support is one-time and non-recurring.
  • The borough will be responsible for issuing public domain occupancy permits and promoting the projects as part of its summer programming.

The number of accepted projects will vary depending on the number of applications received, evaluation criteria, artistic interest, project relevance, and available budget.
