Cultural Mediation Advanced Workshop

Are you curious about youth creation and cultural mediation? Come discover the performance “Where Are Your Shoulders When You Kick” by Rosalie Dell’Aniello and Marie Fannie Guay on Wednesday, April 17 at 10 am at Tangente! The performance will be followed by a mediation workshop and a professional development meeting to experiment with and reflect on engaging with audiences differently!

Workshop Description: Led by Marco Pronovost, a cultural mediator and expert in aesthetic education, this post-performance meeting unfolds in two parts. Firstly, participants will be invited to experience a cultural mediation workshop related to the performance “Where Are Your Shoulders When You Kick.” Subsequently, a debrief on the workshop will open a dialogue about different approaches and tools of cultural mediation that enable an in-depth encounter between a work and its audience. Lasting a total of two hours, this advanced workshop is an opportunity to rethink the role of the spectator through the lens of cultural mediation!
