CHOEUR ET CHORÉGRAPHES d’André Pappathomas

Chœur et chorégraphes brings about an encounter between dance and song, driven by the desire to cleverly blend vocal music with the body’s melodies.

For the ninth edition of this project, choreographers Charles Brecard, Lucie Grégoire and James Viveiros were asked to incorporate the nine members of the Mruta Mertsi Vocal Ensemble into their choreography, to music composed especially for them. Percussion instruments, both classical and invented, punctuate this exchange rich in dancing bodies, singing bodies and poetry.
