Are you a dance artist, manager or cultural worker in administration, an NPO, a collective or still self-employed? Are you looking to improve your management skills and the organization of your work? Would you like to restructure, initiate a strategic development process or simply become better organized?
This training, consisting of a fourteen (14) hour group activity followed by individual coaching, invites you to take a look at the management processes and tools of your current administrative structure, in order to optimize the efficiency of your management and work organization practices.
You’ll analyze the main management functions (planning, organizing, directing and controlling) and acquire new tools and approaches that will enable you to handle them more effectively. You’ll also learn about human resources management, work organization, change management, communications management and strategic development.
You’ll gain a global and structured vision of your operating modes, a better understanding of your administrative organization, and the tools to initiate significant changes for the improvement and development of sound and efficient management.
Individual support
At the end of the group training session, you can take advantage of at least three (3) hours of individual coaching, where the trainer will work with you to develop the concepts you have learned, based on your specific needs or challenges in your current professional situation.
Objectives
At the end of this training course, you will be able to develop customized management tools adapted to the needs of your organization, whatever it may be. You’ll be able to carry out a self-diagnosis of your management, map your processes, evaluate your work organization, assess your needs, strengths and weaknesses, and then take the necessary steps to improve your processes
Who can benefit from this training?
Dance artists, managers and cultural workers in administration in mid-career who have one or more artistic projects under their belt.
* Artists, managers and cultural workers in administration at the start of their career are also welcome, if they have taken the training course NPO, Collective or Self-Employment: Implement the model of their choice and learn how to manage their artistic projects or if they can demonstrate that they have the required knowledge or experience. Contact us if in doubt.
