Kaia Portner

Kaia Portner (elle/she/her) is a dancer/choreographic artist based in Montreal/Tiohtià:ke QC and has obtained a BFA in contemporary dance and choreography from Concordia University. As a dancer, Kaia performs regularly as a showgirl/gogo dancer at La Nuit Shanghai. She also dances in music videos and festivals for local artists, as well as animation for events like The Ritz Carlton for F1, Cabaret C, and for company YDC productions. She continues her training in heels, contemporary and floor work (with Rubberbandance, Victoria VicVersa Mackenzie) house and latin dance styles. Kaia’s choreographic pursuits have led her to perform her work publicly at Entrepot 77 in collaboration with POP Montreal, as well as debut a solo work for Tangente’s Dance Buissonnieres 2024 season. Kaia also teaches a sensual flow class at Studio Bizz, and loves to share her passion for movement with others.
