Aaricia Laperrière Roy

Aaricia is a young dance artist born in Tiohtiá:ke/Montreal. Growing up, she recognized the importance and grounding power of dance, leading her to train extensively in a wide range of styles, including jazz, ballet, tap, social dances, Latin dances, flamenco, and hip-hop. She fully immersed herself in developing her passion and, in 2021, graduated from the École de danse contemporaine de Montréal.

Since entering the professional dance scene, Aaricia has distinguished herself not only through her love of teaching but also through her diverse training, allowing her to take part in a variety of projects. She has appeared in several music videos for Montreal-based artists such as Jonathan Roy, One Nessa, and Caracol. Under the direction of Propulse Danse, she performed in two choreographic works, Lucioles and Pas de Paillettes sans Yeux, by choreographer Marie-Denise Bettez. She is also a member of Eleganza Tropical, a leading entertainment company specializing in Latin and other dance styles, music, singing, live performances, event hosting, and rhythmic fitness.

Aaricia takes great pleasure in sharing her knowledge and has been teaching tap dance to students of all ages at Studio de danse Impulse since its opening in 2017. She is also the founder and director of the burlesque and entertainment dance company The Medusaas, which she has led since 2021 under her stage name, Miss Rosay, and through which she now offers public classes. Inspired by grand musicals and classic cabaret, she merges musical precision with a strong sense of showmanship to deliver captivating performances, whether on theater stages or in the underground worlds of raves and festivals. Her contagious energy and passion for performance allow her to engage and inspire audiences, no matter the setting.
