Marie-Eve's journey into the world of performance arts began at the tender age of four when she discoveredher passion for ballet and gymnastics. With an unwavering dedication to her craft, she embarked on aremarkable artistic career that has spanned nearly two decades.
After graduating from the École de Danse de Québec, she danced on national and international stages fornearly 20 years, as well as participating in several films as a contemporary dance performer. She has been with the Fleuve Espace Danse
company for over 10 years, specializing in outdoor site-specificp erformances. In 2010, she ventured into the captivating circus world, becoming an aerial acrobat and main dancer for spectacular large-scale outdoor shows such as Omaterra, Dragao, New York Macy's Cirque du Soleil Events and for
Montréal Complètement Cirque Festival. In 2017, after having been Assistant Choreographer for the creation of Cirque du Soleil's big top show
Volta, she was invited by Gilles Ste-Croix,one of the founders of Cirque du Soleil, to create the choreographies for Circo de los Niños
in Mexico for two consecutive years. In 2021, Marie-Eve added another feather to her cap by choreographing and directing three circus shows, slated for presentation over the nextfour years aboard a P&O Cruises cruise ship in United Kingdom.
Marie-Eve has been working at Cirque du Soleil since 2016. Her multifaceted role within the organization includes serving as an Acrobatic Choreographer, Artistic Coach, Rehearsal Director, and Choreographer for numerous productions. Her contributions have enhanced shows such as Volta, Axel, Luzia, Bazzar, KSA National Day, KSA Season 2022, the relaunch of Ovo and Crystal, as well as the 2023 creation in the tribute series in Trois-Rivières, Guy!Guy!Guy! as the official Choreographer. She also had the honor of providing artistic direction and choreography for the juggling act of China's National Acrobatic Troupe, which won the gold medal at the 43rd edition of the Festival Mondial du Cirque de Demain. More recently, she was a guest choreographer on Compagnie Eloize's Bon Voyage.
